SYNCING FREQUENCY AND PHASE AND TIME OF DAY

With increasing demand within the mobile standard mean that frequency alignment alone is no longer enough to keep networks in sync. Now phase and time-of-day synchronization is also required to take spectrum utilization to new levels and leverage the full capabilities of the 4G environment as well as upcoming 5G applications. Our product portfolio enables mobile network operators to meet skyrocketing levels of data demand and also equip their synchronization network in readiness for LTE Advanced Pro and 5G. Harnessing our unique technology enables a seamless upgrade of existing infrastructure and provides phenomenally precise frequency and phase synchronization.

A combination of network-based synchronization using IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) and satellite-based timing selecting from GNSS solves the shortcomings of each individual approach and provides the best quality and highest availability at a reasonable cost for mobile network operators.

Synchronization Solution for telecommunication Network

The Precision TimeBase provides the most precise and stable, synchronized, time & frequency outputs in the world. When configured with any of the available OCXO and Rubidium oscillator upgrades, it can operate as a Primary Reference Clock that meets the requirements of ITU-T G.811/G.823/G.824 and ANSI T1.101.

This Precision TimeBase is a stand-alone Primary Reference Source (PRS) with integrated GPS receiver. It is an ideal solution for synchronizing systems that require a reliable T1/E1 signal. Meridian PRS provides Stratum 1 synchronization when locked to GPS. Precision TimeBase also provides timing services via the Network Time Protocol (NTP), optional IEEE-1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP), and a wide variety of timing signal outputs.

The Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE) provides physical layer frequency synchronization with the performance of the system oscillator. Compliance with G.8261, G.8262, G.8264.

For highly accurate time synchronization among mobile backhaul base station and LTE-Advanced aggregate base stations it can deliver nanosecond time, frequency and phase synchronization to lower base station. That meet ITU-T profile of G.8265.1, G.8275.1 and G.8275.2.
